PT. Euro Asia Exports & Industries (EAEI) was established in 1999 in Indonesia with the main purpose of acquiring new and existing coal mines to fulfill the demand of international buyers. Based on the company's expertise in coal logistics, coal mining has been one of EAEI's most successful endeavors with operations in Kalimantan, Indonesia.
In 2008 EAEI acquired a 15,000 ha mine in Merak / Long Bagun, East Kalimantan. EAEI focuses on joint venture schemes in South (GCV 5600-5800) and East (GCV 6100-6300) Kalimantan. EAEI have started investing and expanding a 15,000 ha mine in East Kalimantan with Gross Calorific Value of 6300 and above.
EAEI expanded into several businesses and investment projects in various industries such as Logging, Coal, Information Technology and Shipping.
